The Abbeydell Hall is located at the Legend of French Lick, a 20-acre estate located one mile east of the twin towns of West Baden Springs and French Lick in Orange County, Indiana. The property, a local landmark, is the former home of Larry Bird, a basketball legend who grew up in French Lick.  

 

The facilities on the property include a large home, a secluded swimming pool with its adjacent cabana and extensive patio, and the fenced grounds with acres and acres of grass and large trees, a wonderful setting for casual walks. The basketball court adjacent to the Abeydell Hall was the setting for well-known commercials for Converse and the scene in the 1994 movie “Blue Chips”. It was also a location featured in a 2010 HBO special.
